Exhibition Introduction :
Two Way Expectations - Defining the Present and the Future is an exhibition that the Magnetic Field plans to organize in the spring of 2023. The exhibition explores the complexity of the world and the multifaceted nature of the truth through the concept of “everything that fluctuates has two sides” mentioned by Hermann Hesse in Siddhartha, respecting the multifaceted nature in order to create the beauty hidden in the complexity, and searching for the special meanings and values that can't be expressed in words.
The exhibition is divided into two chapters, “Present” and “Future”, focusing on how to make every moment more profound and precious in the passage of time. Represented by the art sculpture “Bullet”, Mr. Ouyang Ru gathered more than 30 artists to call on people to return to their hearts and pursue their truest thoughts. Through their works, the artists expressed their thoughts and fantasies about two-sided expectations.
In the “Present” chapter, the exhibition explores the complexity and diversity of emotions, and demonstrates the courage to pursue one's dreams in the course of time and the wisdom to enjoy the marvelous life in the present. In the “Future” chapter, the exhibition presents the motivation to keep moving forward and the firm belief in the light of tomorrow and the sunshine of the present.
