Exploring the development of technological media with romantic colors.
Exhibition Introduction :
In the spring of 2022, the Magnetic Field Project, together with 14 artists, will present a narrative-centered exhibition at the Spring Museum of Art, “There is a City in Everyone's Heart”. Through the lens of Romanticism, the exhibition explores the deep connection between cities and human beings and reveals the intersection of the city's colorful narratives and inner needs.
Nineteenth-century Romantic poet Cooper once said, “God created the countryside, man created the city.” Cities are not only a collection of buildings, but also the bearer of human life trajectories, with rich stories hidden behind every street and every building. Whether it's a place you can't forget or a future you're longing for, there's a city in everyone's heart. The beautiful melancholy of Shanghai, the unforgettable sky of Bejing, and the mobile feast of Paris are all unique memories given by cities.
This exhibition tries to explore the development of technological media and the collision between the city and the inner needs of human beings through the color of romanticism. The artists think about the city in a new way, searching for warmth, making dreams, and recognizing themselves in the city. The exhibition blends childishness and innocence, myth and reality, machinery, and life, and lines and blocks, interpreting the romantic colors of the city and human beings under colorful paintbrushes.
A city, a city in everyone's heart. This is our exhibition to explore the city in our hearts together.
